Rally Our Class Around a Just Cause
FOR OUR STUDENTS, THE CLASSROOM IS WHERE
A JUST CAUSE
"A Just Cause is a specific vision of a future state that does not yet exist; a future state so appealing that people are willing to make sacrifices in order to help advance toward that vision."
A JUST CAUSE MUST BE...
The vision that we have for our class must be positive, optimistic and FOR something. We must show our students that what they learn, what they do, and who they are matters.
Everyone who wants to buy in, participate, and contribute to the cause should be welcomed with open arms. Good leaders learn about the skills and talents of their people and find ways for them to contribute to the cause.
A Just Cause must be in the service of others. When our energy is geared towards outward and worthy goals we are willing to do more, give more, and be more.
A Just Cause endures during adversity and volatility. In fact, groups that are fueled by a just cause seek out adversity. Adversity challenges our cause, strengthens our resolve and make us even more committed to our worthy mission.
